Tool Roll (Free Pattern)
This pattern will walk you through the steps to make your tool roll with instructions for both a crochet and knit version. I crocheted a blue tool roll to store my crochet hooks and knitted a purple one for my knitting tools. You can use this tool roll to store any kind of tools (eg. sewing tools, leather crafting tools, color pencils, brushes, etc).
The pattern is made-to-measure and there is no fixed gauge. It is meant more as a flexible guide rather than a fixed pattern. Feel free to customize and shake things up with modifications etc. Having a basic understanding of sewing (back stitch, seam allowance, running stitch) will be very helpful.
There are 2 parts to this pattern
1) Crocheting/knitting a rectangular panel
2) Sewing on the fabric lining + attachments that your tools will fit into
